Old Town’s The Happy Place Gift Bar Boutique just got a whole lot happier with an expansion of the store sure to boost serotonin.
The Happy Place opened in 2022 at 105 S. Union St. and this year expanded into 107 S. Union St.
The original Happy Place features child and adult clothing, gifts, toys, and pop-culture related goods. The new shop features vacation and beachwear as well as a large selection of jewelry, souvenirs and gifts.
The shop stands out as a unique place to shop with bright colors, child-inclusive sizes, and fun photo ops inside the store.
“Our goal is to brighten everyone’s day and bring the vibrant, relaxing vibes of the coastline beach to Old Town, Alexandria.” said co-owner Stavroulla Kokkinis, one of the owners, who also co-owns The Lucky Knot and 3 Sisters.
Whether customers are planning for a beach vacation, or just want to add some coastal chic to their daily wardrobe, the expanded Happy Place is the place.
“We wanted to create a destination that captures the spirit of their dream getaway,” Kokkinis said.
