Alexandria Living Magazine, the only lifestyle publication covering the Alexandria region, is looking for a positive, smart, entrepreneurial ad sales associate to join our quickly growing company!
Alexandria Living Magazine showcases the individuals, places, businesses, events and issues affecting the dynamic and growing City of Alexandria and surrounding neighborhoods. The magazine won the Rising Star award from the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and has a track record of success and innovation with marketing and partnerships.
With a talented business development team and an expanding list of opportunities, the magazine is taking a forward-looking approach to partnering with local businesses. A number of local businesses, non-profit organizations and associations have worked with us on sponsored content, sweepstakes, social media marketing, events and brand awareness. In addition, a number of innovative projects are in the works.
The applicant for this position should have:
- Advertising, multi-media sales or comparable experience
- A warm, positive, welcoming personality that encourages relationship-building
- Professional, creative, problem-solving attitude and strong presentation skills
- Proven track record of closing new business and maintaining current business
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented, extremely motivated and able to work independently
Hours are flexible, but the sky's the limit on income!
