The Del Ray Business Association will officially welcome From Head to Tail Grooming Spa Thursday to Del Ray.
"As lifelong animal lovers, we created a grooming spa that our own dogs would be happy to go to, and that we, as dog parents, would be comfortable taking them to — one that offers the best products, patience and kindness and delivers top-notch service in a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere," said owner Jodi Goldberg.
From Head to Tail Grooming Spa is located at 430 Hume Ave. in Alexandria.
From Head to Tail Grooming Spa provides safe, gentle, high-quality professional grooming in a clean, stress-free, holistic environment, the company says.
They are the first — and only — groomer in Virginia to offer an all-natural, Thera-Clean micro-bubble bathing system that deep-cleans the skin into the pores and follicles for better results, including less shedding, itching, odors, and irritation, according to the company.

The grooming spa will host a mayoral ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m., featuring an open house, refreshments, nail trims to benefit a pet rescue, and more.
As part of the grand opening celebration, From Head to Tail will offer Thera-Clean demonstrations and free nail trims Thursday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with donations to benefit Operation Paws for Home. Operation Paws for Home is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of dogs who are rescued from overcrowded high kill shelters in the southern region of the United States.
