In a joint appearance, the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds will fly over the skies of Northern Virginia Saturday.
The jets will fly over Prince George's County Hospital at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, May 2, head southwest over the Pentagon, then pass over the Seven Corners area continuing toward Centreville before returning over Annandale and Alexandria.
For Alexandria residents, the best bet is to stay home and look skyward between about 11:50 a.m. and 12:05 p.m.
The map below from the Military Times provides some indication of where the jets will be visible. More detailed information about the flight path is not available to the public.
The flight is part of a nationwide coordinated effort to show appreciation for hospital workers and first responders in the ongoing efforts against coronavirus and COVID-19.
