Saturday night, George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate hosted an Underground Masquerade — black tied and masks required. The event included private tours of the Mansion and a rare peek into the underground cellar, 18th century fortune telling, fireworks over the Potomac River and more.
This event supported Mount Vernon's ongoing mission of preserving George Washington's home and educating people about his life and legacy.
