Family favorite ICE! ® will return to the Gaylord National.
The year it will feature the classic holiday tale, How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss. ICE! ® is an interactive indoor winter wonderland carved from 2 millions pounds of ice.
Artisans from northern China travel to the Gaylord to carve the ice which is delivered by freezer trucks over a 3 week period. The display is kept at 9 degrees to preserve the ice sculptures and visitors should plan to spend between 30 minutes and 2 hours to fully experience the display.
In addition to scenes from the Grinch, there are two tall ice slides and a separate section with a stunning Nativity scene carved from ice.
Warm up afterwards with a hot drink from the Cocoa Shop.
ICE! ® will be on display from Nov. 15 – Dec. 30.
Tickets are $25 for children and $33 for adults with discounts available for Military and Marriott Bonvoy Members. Bundled tickets that feature other attractions at the Gaylord’s Christmas on the Potomac are also available.
