Hologate virtual reality games at Doyle's Outpost in Alexandria's West End.
Hundreds of people played like kids again Friday night at Doyle's Outpost, Alexandria's new laser tag/arcade/sports bar venue.
Doyle's Outpost games include air hockey, coin drops, skee ball, basketball challenges and a variety of arcade games in addition to Hologate virtual reality.
Go beyond the sports bar — with more than 20 70-inch HDTVs, plenty of food and a full bar — and there's a 5,500 square foot Washington, D.C. themed laser tag that got entirely positive reviews.
The venue is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. - 1 a.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 1 a.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Adults only are allowed in the venue after 9 p.m. nightly.
Doyle's Outpost is now booking birthday parties for kids and adults, corporate events and private parties. Learn more and see menus at DoylesOutpost.com.
Doyle's Outpost is located at 4620A Kenmore Ave. in the same shopping center as Aldi's — see the map at the bottom of this page. (Hint: Go in the Planet Fitness entrance and turn right).
