The Del Ray Turkey Trot, which draws thousands of runners to the streets of Del Ray, will be virtual this year due to coronavirus concerns.
Runners will be able to submit a time from any 5-mile run completed between Nov. 21 - 29 this year.
Participants will get a commemorative "2020" bib, an optional long sleeve t-shirt, and their name listed as a 2020 participant when they participate in the virtual race.
In addition, runners are asked to support ALIVE!, a nonprofit organization serving Alexandria’s residents in need.

The virtual event is presented by DC Road Runners and the Del Ray Business Association.
