Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 Summer Season, with tickets on sale Friday, Feb. 28.
This year’s lineup features a dynamic mix of legendary hitmakers, classical masterpieces, contemporary sensations, beloved Broadway powerhouses, and more—promising unforgettable performances under the stars.
The 2025 Summer Season features:
- Two nights of The Avett Brothers (May 30 + 31) kick off the summer season.
- The legendary voices and timeless sounds of Paul Simon (June 6 + 7); Ringo Starr (June 17); and three magical nights with James Taylor (Aug. 21, 23 + 24).
- Chart-topping pop sensations like emotive vocalist James Arthur (July 2); multi-instrumentalist harmonizer Jacob Collier (Aug. 5); and genre-crossing Maren Morris (Sep. 12), make their Wolf Trap debuts.
- Neeti Mohan, Shakti Mohan, and Mukti Mohan combine their talents to bring a night of dynamic Indian fusion in Mohan Sisters Live(June 13).
- Soulful blues performances by Taj Mahal + Keb’ Mo’ (June 8); Buddy Guy (June 21); and Joe Bonamassa (Sep. 13).
- Rocking hitmakers including HEART (June 1); DISPATCH (July 5); Barenaked
Ladies with Sugar Ray (July 16); Chicago (July 23);Goo Goo Dolls with Dashboard Confessional (July 27); and Tedeschi Trucks Band + Whiskey Myers (Aug. 29 + 30); and The Teskey Brothers with The Paper Kites (Sep. 10).
- Captivating Broadway performances including the return of Broadway in the Park with Signature Theatre (June 28), plus two dazzling shows from the National Symphony Orchestra: An Evening with Kelli O’Hara and Sutton Foster (Aug. 1), and a night with the “wickedly” talented Cynthia Erivo (Sep.7).
- Fan favorites return to the Filene Center stage with Hip Hop greats The Roots (June 29); folk bands Iron & Wine + I’m With Her (July 15); An Evening with David Sedaris (July 19); fusion musician Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (July 24); Mary Chapin Carpenterwith Brandy Clark (Aug. 16); Alison Krauss & Union Station (Sep. 9); and reggae icons Ziggy Marley and Burning Spear (Sep. 18).
- Wolf Trap Opera’s rising stars bring three incredible operas to life this summer:
o The beloved mistaken identity caper of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, which takes place on a single chaotic day filled with twists and trysts (June 20, 22, 26 + 28; The Barns at Wolf Trap).
o Poulenc’s powerful Dialogues of the Carmelites, based on the true story of Carmelite nuns during the troubled times of the French Revolution (July 18, 20, 24 + 26; The Barns at Wolf Trap).
o Bizet’s highly popular Carmen, a tempestuous opera that steals the hearts of opera lovers and first-time attendees with its familiar music and a storyline burning with power, attraction, and betrayal. (Aug. 15; Filene Center)
Previously announced performances, including James Blunt (June 18); HAUSER (June 25); The Swell Season (July 11); and Yacht Rock Revue(Aug. 3) also go on sale Friday, February 28 at 10 AM.

A brand-new entrance gate will elevate the Wolf Trap patron experience, complementing recent upgrades, and continuing to enhance accessibility.
The 2025 Filene Center season is made possible through a public/private partnership between the nonprofit Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and the National Park Service.
