Featuring steel drums, silent and live auctions and food and wine pairings, Wine on the Water is set for June 9.
Wine on the Water benefits the Alexandria Seaport Foundation (ASF), whose mission is to improve the lives of young people through adult mentoring, project-based learning and the craft of wooden boat building. ASF provides career, life and educational tools necessary to secure and maintain employment.
While sipping wine and enjoying an array of cheese and charcuterie, guests can see traditional wooden boats and learn how the Foundation is changing the lives of at-risk youth in our community. Special celebrity wine pourers with local Alexandria character will attend.
This event is at 211 N. Union Street, Alexandria in Old Town overlooking the Potomac River.
