Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler will perform his hits from the '70s as well as songs from his first solo album next Thursday when he stops in to perform at Wolf Trap in Vienna.
Tyler is best known for the hits that made Aerosmith famous: "Walk This Way," "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion" — songs that were among those that defined the '70s era and are still popular today. The band was founded in 1970 in Boston.
In addition to his hits, fans will be treated to country songs from Tyler's 2016 release "We're All Somebody From Somewhere."
His stop in Northern Virginia will be just the fourth date on a tour that kicked off last month in Nashville. At his concert Tuesday night (June 12) in Lewiston, N.Y., some of the songs Tyler performed, according to the Niagara Gazette, included:
- "Sweet Emotion"
- "Dream On"
- "Walk This Way"
- A Beatles medley that included "Oh Darling" and "Come Together"
- Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart"
- Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love"
Tickets for the Wolf Trap concert are priced from $45 to $125. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. For more information see the Wolf Trap website here.
