Halloween weekend brings out plenty of spook in Alexandria. Here are some upcoming events:
The Lee-Fendall House Museum is hosting Grief & Ghosts Tours Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are available here.

- Halloween Howl on the Tall Ship Providence (10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., ages 13 and under)
- Free Kid's Halloween Crafts at Made in ALX (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- Old Town Trick or Treat (11 a.m. - 4 p.m. starting at Hooray for Books!)
- Carlyle Halloween Bar Crawl - The Stampede (2 - 6 p.m., adults only)
- The Mystery of Carlyle's Mummy (6 p.m., ages 12+)
Sunday, Oct. 29 is Doggie Trick or Treat! Join The Dog Park and Old Town Business for Doggie Trick-or-Treat on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 1 p.m. -4 p.m. Pick up your goodie bag and map from The Dog Park at 705 King Street to get started!
The fun continues on Monday, Oct. 30 with Halloween Tales at River Farm in Fort Hunt (7931 E. Boulevard Dr.). Acclaimed actor and retired jurist William T. Newman Jr. heads an all-star cast of storytellers who will regale book lovers with narrations from the popular — and slightly spooky — Old Town Mystery Series. Classical WETA broadcast personality Nicole Lacroix and the dynamic ghost storyteller duo of Nikisha Kozik and Jimmy Meritt with Alexandria Colonial Tours will also participate in the story telling. Halloween costume attire is encouraged. No RSVP needed!
