In addition to the City of Alexandria Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m., here are places to see twinkling lights in and around Alexandria:
Ice & Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run opens on Nov. 19 and continues through the new year. Enjoy food, shopping, photo ops and lots of holiday lights at the Winter Village, plus ice skating.
Mount Vernon by Candlelight kicks off Nov. 26 and continues every weekend through December. Christmas Illuminations at Mount Vernon is Dec. 17 and 18.
The annual Holiday Boat Parade of Lights returns on Dec. 4 just after dark. This year, enjoy a Port City pop-up beer garden, giveaways from 97.1 WASH-FM and more.
The Del Ray Tree Light and Menorah Lighting is set for Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Pat Miller Square.
