If you're looking to make a weekend of it, be sure to make hotel as well as restaurant reservations at one of MGM's eateries: Voltaggio Brothers Steak House, Ginger or Diablo's Cantina.
On a recent visit to Voltaggio Brothers, we sampled some of the dinner menu items and heartily recommend the tender filet mignon, sherry mushrooms, Brussel sprouts with cherries and roasted carrots. Not to miss: the salad with blue cheese "snow," and the Parker House Rolls. The service was friendly and impeccable; the ambiance was comfortable and elegant with a large crowd on a Sunday night, but the restaurant is very spacious and offers plenty of space between tables.
The MGM National Harbor hotel is elegant, quiet and comfortable. It can't be beat as a location after a concert in the same building — an easy walk to the elevator or a quick stop in the casino before whisking yourself upstairs for a relaxing rest before you head home the next day.
