For more than 3 decades, the Old Town Arts & Crafts Festival has offered residents and visitors of all ages to chance to shop dozens of vendors, from pottery and paintings to recycled jewelry, fine art glass pieces, home and garden products, and clothing — for people and pets!
Join Volunteer Alexandria on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Waterfront Park (1 King Street) for the 39th Old Town Arts and Crafts Fair.
The event benefits Volunteer Alexandria, whose mission is to build a better community by inspiring and mobilizing people to volunteer.
Since its founding in 1980, Volunteer Alexandria has served as a link between individual and group volunteers and area nonprofit organizations and City agencies in need of support.
In addition to art, the free festival includes face painting and activities for children, boat painting and food from a wide variety of local restaurants.
Vendors include In Bloom Jewelry, Hat Matter, K&S Wood Crafts, Scarvelous, UncommonFinds, MacroFind Photography, and more than 75 other artists.
For a full list of vendors, visit www.volunteeralexandria.org/vendors.
Volunteers are still needed for this event! Volunteers are needed as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 5:45 p.m. Multiple shifts are available for help with setting up for early birds, selling moonshine, drinks and water, and guest assistance.
