Made in ALX, a co-op of local makers, artists and creators, has announced a number of workshops and classes for this summer — including soap-making, painting, and more.
July 14 — Manifestation: Forgive, Thank, Trust Workshop: This is a workshop to inform and empower you to begin or expand your manifestation journey. All skill levels are welcome! Ages 18 and up. Led by Sarah Locke. (Additional manifestation workshops are scheduled for July 20 and July 28.)
July 16 — Make Your Own Soap: Make your own cold-press, olive-oil based soap to take home! You'll leave with about 5 bars of your own custom soap — you choose the colors and scents. Led by Courtney Justice. This class is good for ages 12+. Sign up here.
July 17 — Art Class for Kids: Claude Monet: Join local artist Julianne Woehrle for a fun art class series! Aimed at ages 8 -12, each week you will learn about a different artist in history and then create a piece of artwork in their signature style.
July 22 — Paint & Sip with Kellie Sansone: Join local artist Kellie Sansone as she walks you through painting your very own beach themed masterpiece in acrylics! Never painted before? No problem! There is no experience necessary. All required supplies as well as wine are included with your ticket!
