All proceeds directly support Housing Alexandria’s mission to create and preserve quality, affordable homes and community-focused spaces. This includes vital resident services like community gardens, which provide residents with healthy food and a space for community building.
This year’s festival will highlight the successful completion of the Cardinal Path Homes project, a landmark initiative that brings 36 new, high-quality energy-efficient homes to low-income, first-time homebuyers in Alexandria. This project leverages an innovative shared equity model to ensure the homes remain affordable for generations to come.
"We are incredibly proud of the Cardinal Path Homes project and the transformative impact it will have on our community," said Jon Frederick, president and CEO of Housing Alexandria. "This year's Fall Festival is not just a celebration of our work, but a testament to the community's unwavering support for our mission. Our affordable housing programs enable individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including educators, nurses, and law enforcement personnel, to live and thrive in the very community they serve."
Housing Alexandria extends its sincere gratitude to its sponsors for making this event possible.
