Gadsby's Tavern Museum
Gadsby's Tavern Museum will be open on Monday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. In addition to regular guided tours, the museum will be offering the "Hamilton: BFFs & Frenemies Tour" at 11 a.m.
The tour is also available Feb. 21 and Feb. 28.
Explore the connections between the Founding Fathers and Alexandria on the “Hamilton’s BFFs & Frenemies”specialty tour at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, inspired by the hit musical Hamilton. Discover how historic figures like George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Aaron Burr navigated the challenges of their era—and how their paths all intersected with this local tavern. Includes discussion of the issues they faced and how their choices impacted local citizens.
Guests should arrive at least five minutes before the tour begins for check-in.
