For the first time, the City of Alexandria will host the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration at the Waterfront, the City announced this week.
On Wednesday, Dec. 31, join the celebration from 7 p.m. - midnight at Waterfront Park (1 Prince St.). The City is celebrating the end of 2025 with live music, a festive waterfront atmosphere and two fireworks shows (7:30 p.m. and midnight) to welcome the New Year!
Swing by DASH's festive warming bus on Strand Street for a cozy spot to recharge between firework shows or stop by the Mobile Art Lab to work on a fun and festive craft you can bring home.
SCHEDULE:
- 7 - 10 p.m.: DJ One Luv
- 7:30 p.m.: Evening Fireworks Show
- 10 - 11:55 p.m.: Dream City Brass
- Midnight (12 a.m.): Midnight Fireworks
Best viewing spots include Canal Center Plaza, Oronoco Bay Park, Founders Park, Waterfront Park, Windmill Hill Park, Fords Landing boardwalk, Jones Point Park and George Washington Masonic Temple.
