The Alexandria Film Festival has partnered with Virginia Tech to screen films at the university’s Alexandria location in the Potomac Yard neighborhood as part of the 19th Annual Alexandria Film Festival.
Check out the great line-up of more than 60 films in a variety of genres, including some 25 that are premiering in the DC metro area or on the East Coast. Nearly three dozen filmmakers will be in attendance and will answer audience members' questions following their screening.

Tickets for individual showcases are $15, and an unlimited, all-festival pass is just $80.
“We are thrilled and grateful to partner with Virginia Tech for our 19th annual festival,” said Jill Ray, chair of the Alexandria Film Festival. “The university’s new academic building in the Potomac Yard neighborhood is the perfect hub of festival activities this year. It’s metro-accessible, high-tech, and ultra-modern, offering multiple spaces for film screenings including the 300- capacity Boeing Auditorium.”

The 19th annual Alexandria Film Festival kicked off Sunday, Nov. 2 and continues Friday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 9 at venues across the city of Alexandria including Patagonia Old Town, Beatley Library (free programming), the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum and Virginia Tech (Alexandria campus).
