The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, also known as The Chamber ALX, brings its September After Hours to Royal Restaurant, taking over the Old Town mainstay at 730 N. St. Asaph St. for an evening of drinks and bites.
The Royal opened in 1904 as the Royal Cafe next to city hall and moved to St. Asaph Street in 1964. After nearly 120 years under the Pikrallidas and Euripides families, it sold to Alexandria Restaurant Partners and Sloan Hospitality and reopened in April 2024 with a renovated space, a full bar and a patio.
The event runs 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. Tickets are $35 for members and $50 for prospective members. Register here.
The After Hours series is presented and sponsored by the United States Senate Federal Credit Union.
