Jennifer van der Kleut (McBride) is originally from the Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. She graduated from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at San Jose State University, and has worked for several Silicon Valley-area news publications. Jennifer also worked as a freelance writer and reporter for a few years for AOL and Patch.com, and she has worked for ABC7 News/WJLA-TV for a time as a web producer and social media coordinator. Jennifer has also worked as as a freelance writer/reporter for companies such as Driverless Transportation, RestonNow.com, LifeLock and several other media companies.
