The sign is up at Glory Days Grill and the sports-themed family restaurant is on track for its opening in the coming weeks.
Glory Days Grill will open at 3141 Duke Street in the Alexandria Commons shopping center, replacing Lone Star Steak House. This is Glory Days Grill’s 15th location in Virginia — the closest one to Alexandria are at Barcroft Plaza in Falls Church.
This Glory Days Grill location will include a large banquet room, patio seating and catering. The extensive menu includes burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, soups, chili, tacos, grill items and deserts.
The hours of this location are still to be determined, but other Glory Days Grills in Virginia open at 11 or 11:30 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. or midnight daily.
In a press release earlier this year, Jeff Newman, president and co-founder, said, "We are excited to open Glory Days Grill in the west end of Alexandria. I know the local community will enjoy our sports themed and family-friendly restaurant. Our neighbors will also benefit from Glory Days' commitment and deep ties to local schools."
