After hundreds of adorable entries and thousands of votes, Boba has officially been crowned Alexandria’s Cutest Pup for 2025! This almost-three-year-old miniature schnauzer has a big heart, an even bigger personality, and a serious talent for turning heads around town. With his expressive eyebrows, dapper beard, and natural love for posing, Boba is a charming little gentleman who collects compliments wherever he goes. He makes fast friends with humans and pups alike, turning every stroll around Alexandria into a cheerful adventure.

Boba's go-to treat is: Dehydrated lamb lung — he comes running around the corner the second he hears me open his treat jar!
Boba's favorite spot in Alexandria is: It’s a toss-up between Eugene Simpson Dog Park for social hour with fellow pups and Dangerfield Island, where he soaks up attention from adoring humans, indulges in plane spotting, and rolls gleefully in the grass on his walks.
More than anything, Boba loves: His family — and making new friends. He says hi to every dog and human he meets — he’s truly the neighborhood greeter!
What 3 words best describe Boba: Sweet, playful, loyal.
How did Boba come into your life? Boba came into my life during a time of big change and deep grief after losing my 13.5-year-old miniature schnauzer, Brewster, to cancer. I met Boba when he was just 4 weeks old and brought him home at 9 weeks. From the moment we met, he brought light back into my life along with endless cuddles. He’s my sweet boy and adventure buddy in everything from international travel to local café runs.
