Baby
Baby is a 2-year-old dog with a sweet, shy personality, but lots of love to give.
When Baby first came to the shelter, she was a little timid. She could be unsure of new situations and people, but after working with our volunteers and staff, she's gained lots of confidence.
Do you like Starbucks runs? Pup cups are her fave! Her previous owner reports that she has excellent house manners and is a very gentle dog. Baby has been calm and easy to handle at the shelter.
She previously lived with a dog and a cat, and did marvelously with the kitty. The other dog wasn't the friendliest to her, so we'd recommend (and we can facilitate) a dog intro. Baby would make a wonderful, well-mannered companion.
Baby would qualify for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's special "Summer Lovin" adoption event this Friday through Sunday, June 3 - 5, during normal adoption hours. Approved adopters can name their adoption fee for all adult dogs and cats over 6 months of age.
