When you befriend Rico, you’re really making two new buddies: a handsome Staffordshire terrier and whatever toy he happens to be obsessed with that day.
Rico can regularly be found with a toy in his mouth; the squeakier, the better! He’s an absolute people-person, only in dog form, and would be happy to spend the day with his best friend, adventuring around the neighborhood or snuggled up together on the couch.
He’s got so much love to give that’s he’d prefer to be your only pet, so he can focus all his attention on you.
At five years old, Rico can still be a bit shy at first in new situations, but with the help of a confident friend and a squeaky toy, Rico can overcome anything, and often makes new friends when he visits Old Town and the waterfront.
After all, who could help but fall in love with his zany antics and big brown eyes. And best of all, Rico’s adoption fee has already been paid by a generous donor, so if you have room in your home for a goofball with a heart of gold, then stop by the AWLA to meet Rico today!
