For the second year in a row, a Mount Vernon area native has been named the Cherry Blossom Princess.
Natalie Revers is Virginia's 2019 Cherry Blossom Princess. The princess represents Virginia in the National Conference of State Societies' Cherry Blossom Princess Program during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Leadership, scholarly achievement, character and an interest in world affairs are among the requirements.
In 2018, Margaret O’Meara, who graduated from West Potomac High School in 2015, was named Cherry Blossom Princess and went on to be selected as the U.S. Cherry Blossom Queen.
