This year was the 12th annual Spring2ACTion, and as of 11:59 pm. Wednesday, Spring2ACTion received donations from 7,173 individuals, raising $2,535,147 for 172 nonprofits and community organizations.
This was the third year in a row that Spring2ACTion broke its own financial record — the Day of Giving raised $2.479 million in 2021 and $2.45 million in 2020.
Hosted by ACT for Alexandria, Spring2ACTion is the only citywide giving day in the region designed to strengthen the impact of local nonprofits. Since its inception in 2011, Spring2ACTion has raised more than $18 Million for local nonprofits.
