If you thought you missed out in being cast as an extra in "Wonder Woman 1984," keep an eye out for new opportunities. Last week, the movie filming at Landmark Mall in Alexandria’s West End was looking for dog owners, joggers and new stand-ins.
As filming progresses in the coming weeks, additional casting calls may be released. Keep an eye on ProjectCasting.com for announcements (search for Wonder Woman).
Most casting calls have a 24- to 48-hour turn around, so opportunities pass quickly.
"Wonder Woman 1984" is the next movie in the Wonder Woman series. It will star Gal Gadot, Kristen Wiig and Lynda Carter. The movie has a release date of November 2019. The movie is set in the 1980s, and dozens of 1970s and 1980s cars are parked at Landmark Mall this summer.
Filming is also happening in Georgetown and elsewhere in Washington, D.C.
