Alexandria is coming together for a powerful cause. On Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m.- noon, the community is invited to take part in the first-ever Breast Cancer 5K at Cameron Run Regional Park, at Lake Cook 4001 Eisenhower Ave.
This new event is more than a walk or run—it’s a chance to raise awareness, celebrate survivors and honor those who have been lost to breast cancer. Whether you’re running for time, walking with friends or cheering from the sidelines, your participation helps shine a light of hope and solidarity in the City.
Registration is $25 per person, open to ages 10 and up. You can sign up through the City’s recreation portal here.
Bring your family, friends or co-workers and be part of something meaningful. Together, participants can make this first year a strong foundation for years to come.
Register today and join Alexandria in taking steps toward hope, healing and awareness.
