1901 Mt. Vernon Ave. in Del Ray is the new office for ACS and Drone Wars.
A new podcast and the company producing it are opening an office in Del Ray.
Drone Wars and Allen Control Systems (ACS) signs went up outside 1901 Mt. Vernon Ave., at the corner of East Bellefonte Avenue over the weekend.
The podcast started earlier this fall, hosted by Steve Simoni, co-founder and CEO of ACS. "ACS is developing counter-drone robotic gun systems targeted at neutralizing attacking drone swarms, drones that are pre-programmed with AI, and drones that are non-jammable," according to the company.
Drone Wars, which started in September and has released four episodes so far, is a "podcast for all things drones, defense tech, defense policy, and modern warfare. Featured guests include industry leaders, policy experts, military warfighters, business titans, and many more."
