The fire that caused millions in damage back in October to multiple restaurants and shops at the Belle View Shopping Center started in a restaurant's cooler.
That's the conclusion of a report from the Fairfax County Fire Marshal released to local news website Covering the Corridor following a Freedom of Information Act request by publisher Phil Creed.

The fire spread along the roofline of the shopping center and grew to multiple alarms before firefighters got control over it. Several businesses were displaced and many still have not been able to reopen.
