Monte Durham kicked off the program Sunday morning at Above ALX Community, the weddings, meetings and events venue at 277 S. Washington St. in Old Town. The TV star and Alexandria resident talked to guests about wedding dresses and hair trends (and undergarments!) with his well-known humor and candor. Guests were also able to enjoy the venue's rooftop deck and patio under clear skies and warm weather.
Until 3 p.m., guests were invited to learn, mingle and win prizes from the 30-plus wedding and lifestyle companies in attendance. Just before the event closed, one lucky couple won a $2,000 prize from TING Internet.
