Patty O's is a cozy cafe that is a sister property of The Inn at Little Washington.
Looking to kick up your heels on St. Patrick's Day? Patty O's Cafe & Bakery in Little Washington this year will feature dishes inspired by the cuisine of Ireland and a selection from their dessert trolley in addition to its regular menu. The cafe is about an hour-and-a-half drive from Alexandria.
Patty O's was transformed from a former gas station on the village square into a charming sidewalk cafe, an inviting bar and a cozy dining room. A bakery and European-st
yle pastry shop are located on the side of the building.
The cafe is the brainchild of Chef Patrick O'Connell, the award-winning chef and owner of The Inn at Little Washington. Patty O's is located directly across the street from its sister restaurant, The Inn at Little Washington.
The evening will be accompanied by a live Irish trio starring world-renowned Irish musicians Rhys Jones, Pat Egan and Grey Larsenfrom, playing from 3 until 8 p.m.
The St. Patrick's Day-inspired menu will include
- Split Pea Soup with Virginia Country Ham and Whipped Crème Fraiche
- House-made Corned Beef Supper with Savoy Cabbage and Glazed Potatoes
- Guinness Beef Stew with Braised Root Vegetables on Egg Noodles
- Our Beer-Battered Fish n' Chips Blonde Ale-Battered Codfish with Coleslaw, Dill Remoulade and Virginia Malt Vinegar
