Ole! Later this month, the NFL is heading to ... Madrid!
For the league’s first-ever away game in Spain, the Washington Commanders will take on the Miami Dolphins at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (home of Real Madrid C.F.) on Sunday, Nov. 16, in a regular season NFL game.
This will be the first-ever NFL regular season game played in Spain, and it will take place at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Kickoff time is set for 9:30 am ET with the game being televised on NFL Network.
The Commanders are 3-6 so far this season; the Dolphins are 2-7.
It is the second international game for the Commanders since the NFL began playing games overseas. The first matchup came in 2016 against the Cincinnati Bengals, which resulted in a 27-27 tie.
