You have a few more days to catch the full experience of Ice & Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run in Alexandria.
Located at 4001 Eisenhower Ave., the venue is run by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority. Most Alexandrians will know the address as the summer home of Great Waves Waterpark.
The winter park, new this year, opened its doors to skaters and holiday season fun-seekers in mid-November.
The full village will remain open nightly through Jan. 5, from 5-10 p.m. The park, described as a "winter wonderland," includes an ice rink, beautifully lit photo ops, music and more. Visitors will be able to grab a slice of pizza and roast marshmallows over the fire pits.
Starting Jan. 6 (and through Feb. 28), only the ice rink will be open on weekends. The hours will be Fridays from 5 - 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Admission to the Winter Village is $5 (see ticket options below).
Ice skating on the 55x80-foot outdoor ice rink is $8 per person and skate rentals are $4.

Here's a look at ticket information; the less expensive tickets will get you into the park, where you can then purchase tickets for skating and skate rental, space permitting. VIP tickets are for timed 45-minute skating blocks.
Ice & Lights/General Admission: $5 plus a $1.15 fee: These tickets are for Winter Village access only Nov. 15-Jan. 5. These tickets can be redeemed any village night. Purchase of ticket does not guarantee admission if Village is at capacity or due to inclement weather. Ice skating and skate rentals are an additional fee and can be purchased at the park. No refunds or rain checks. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult chaperone.
5 p.m. Ice & Lights VIP Pass: $17 plus a $2.01 fee: These tickets are for Winter Village and ice skating Nov. 15-Jan. 5. Ice & Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run VIP Pass includes general admission to Ice & Lights Winter Village, ice skating, and skate rentals.
Please be advised that skate rink capacity and skate rental availability may affect rink entry times. Ticket may be redeemed for timed entry at or after their ticket time. Purchase of ticket does not guarantee specific skate time if rink is at capacity or due to inclement weather. No refunds.
