Made in ALX
More than 30 Alexandria-based creators, crafters and artists will have a wide variety of items at the Made in ALX winter pop-up shop, which opens this Friday, Nov. 5 at 1 Wales Alley in Old Town Alexandria.
Friday evening from 5 - 8 p.m., Killa Cakes will be on hand selling cupcakes, brownies and cookies to fuel your weekend, plus take 10 percent off everything in the store.
The pop-up shop will have something for just about everyone on the holiday list, from babies to the oldest adults. Items will include the things you may want for this winter (like candles), plus items for your home and kitchen, games, books, jewelry, items for kids, pet treats, art (originals and prints) and much more.
In addition, Made in ALX is hosting a variety of 'meet the maker' events throughout November. (Keep an eye on the Made in ALX Facebook and Instagram pages, or check madeinalx.com/news for updated information on the events.)
