A home in Southeast Fairfax County, lit up for the holiday season.
An increasing number of cars are driving around with Christmas trees on top and slowly but surely, homeowners are decking their homes with lights and holiday displays.
Here are a few places to see the region’s best holiday displays.
Unfortunately, Collingwoods Lights will be dark this year, as homeowner Bill Vaughan suffered a serious injury falling from a ladder while setting up the award-winning holiday display. (We wish him a speedy and complete recovery.)
However, according to Holly’s Tacky Christmas Lights website, the lights are on at these homes in Alexandria:
- 409 E. Nelson Ave. in Del Ray
- 2509 Schooley Drive near Groveton (pictured)
- 6908 University Drive
In addition, as the annual holiday lights competition heats up in Del Ray, expect to see some more impressive displays in that neighborhood, too.
(Know about more here in Alexandria? Email us and we’ll add them to the list.)
There are several impressive lights displays in Arlington, including:
- 523 S Harrison St., Arlington
- 1813 S Oakland St, Arlington
- 1713 N Quebec St., Arlington (coming soon)
