A unique retro-inspired bowling alley, Bowlero, offering "blacklight bowling," bar and dining options as well as a giant arcade, is expected to open sometime in 2020 in Crystal City.
The brand-new Bowlero, totaling 44,000 square feet, will bring bowling, events and dining to Crystal City and its neighboring communities.
Other Bowlero bowling alleys in the region are located in Centreville, Leesburg and Bethesda.
Bowlero Corporation (formerly Bowlmor AMF), signed a new long-term lease last fall for the Crystal City/National Landing location.
Slated to open in 2020, Bowlero will feature "laneside lounge seating" and high-definition video walls. Bowlero’s new venue near Alexandria will also feature a giant arcade and a menu of unique food and beverages.
The menu includes Nathan's classic hot dogs, "shrimp poppers," tacos, pizza, nachos, pretzels, mozzarella sticks, wings (in six flavors: plain, blazing buffalo, bbq, lemon pepper, sweet chili and garlic parmesan) and chocolate, Oreo and vanilla shakes.
The bowling alley will also offer private parties and catering.
Bowlero Corp operates 18 bowling centers in total throughout Virginia under the Bowlero and AMF brands.
