The City of Alexandria is continuing to gather community voices to guide the future of City Hall, Market Square, and the Garage Renovation, and they want to hear yours.
Meet representatives of the City at two farmers’ markets this weekend for their next pop-ups focused on storytelling and public engagement.
- Old Town Farmers’ Market
Saturday, August 2 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. | 301 King St.
- West End Farmers’ Market
Sunday, August 3 | 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | 4800 Brenman Park Dr.
During these in-person pop-ups, you can:
- Help plan new displays and storytelling themes for City Hall and Market Square.
- Share your voice on what topics matter most, from Alexandria’s founding and civic life to public art, neighborhoods and community identities.
- Take an online survey to guide what stories should be told and how they should be experienced.
The city is looking to create a space that reflects the full story of Alexandria; one that honors the past, reflects the present and welcomes the future.
The survey closes Aug. 29 at midnight! Don’t miss out, your voice matters!
