A retired interior designer from Alexandria will be one of the contestants on ABC's The Golden Bachelor, which premiers at the end of September.
Nancy Hulkhower will be featured with 21 other women on the show, seeing if they have chemistry with a 72-year-old man named Gerry Turner.
The women on the show are all ages 60 to 75. They will all be testing their compatibility with Turner, a widow. Hulkhower's husband died in 2011.
To protect the integrity of the show, Hulkhower is not allowed to talk about the episodes or what happens — residents will have to tune in to The Golden Bachelor on ABC on Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. (or stream it on Hulu the day after it airs on ABC).
