Fully furnished pop-up apartment hotel rooms will be available starting at the end of May at the new Carlyle Crossing apartment development, according to the company providing the units.
The company, Placemakr, has partnered with property developer Stonebridge to provide 123 apartment units at Carlyle Crossing. The apartments are available at Dylan, 2455 Mandeville Lane in Alexandria, one of the buildings that is part of the development.
A new Wegmans grocery store opened at the development this week.
Placemakr, a tech-enabled hospitality platform and operator, is in partnership with Stonebridge Development Group to offer the pop-up hotel rooms. The two are offering this unique pop-up that will allow guests to experience hotel amenities and services, while staying in fully furnished, spacious apartments equipped with full kitchens, spacious living rooms, bedrooms with walk-in closets and more.
Renters staying at the pop-up apartment hotel rooms "can stay as little or as long as they would like with Placemakr," the company noted. Whyhotel by Placemakr units will be located in the Dylan apartment building. Each apartment community has unique floor plans, amenities and design features.
Long-term apartment rentals are available at https://www.carlylecrossingva.com/. Amenities include two roof decks, a 3-acre private elevated terrace, a pool, two state-of-the-art fitness centers, co-working space, a demonstration kitchen and a stage for TED-style talks.
In addition to Wegmans, other conveniences for the apartments include quick access to the Capital Beltway and Eisenhower Avenue, a metro stop on the Yellow Line.
