The City of Alexandria’s Office of Housing is pleased to announce the availability of affordable homeownership units at the Residences of Tidelock. The Residences at Tidelock, a new 65-unit condominium community located at 1111 N. Fairfax Street, Alexandria, opening this spring.
Four affordable condominium units — two one-bedroom units and two two-bedroom units — will be available to income-eligible, first-time homebuyers who live or work in the City of Alexandria. One two-bedroom unit is designed as an accessible unit.

The City is accepting applications for the affordable units starting Saturday, May 23, 2026 through Monday, June 22, 2026 at 5 p.m. Due to anticipated high demand, eligible homebuyers will be selected through a lottery.
