Walhaven Exteriors for Miller & Smith
One of the original builders of Kingstowne, Miller & Smith, is introducing a new community designed for the 55 and older crowd, Walhaven at Kingstowne.
Walhaven at Kingstowne offers active adult homebuyers two townhome collections: the Kirkton and the Windfaire.
McLean-based Miller & Smith shaped the original vision for Kingstowne more than 30 years ago when the local homebuilder rezoned 1,300 acres of undeveloped land in Fairfax County. At the time, it was the second largest rezoning in the county’s history. Since developing the land in 1984, Miller & Smith constructed 1,500 of the 5,800 residential homes.
“We had both the privilege and responsibility of shaping the original vision for Kingstowne more than 30 years ago,” said Doug Smith, president of Miller and Smith. “We are thrilled to return to the highly sought-after area with the introduction of Walhaven at Kingstowne, a first-of-its-kind community that offers a fresh approach to 55+ living.”
The three-level townhomes feature private elevators, two-car garages, designer kitchens, spacious owner’s suites and available screened porches, decks and rear terraces to accommodate easy indoor/outdoor living and a low-maintenance lifestyle. Both collections deliver “lock and leave” home designs with up to four bedrooms, 3.5 baths and up to 2,825 square-feet of living space.
Walhaven at Kingstowne is near the Franconia-Springfield Metro station, providing residents with easy access to Washington, D.C. and Ronald Reagan National Airport.
Walhaven at Kingstowne elevator townhomes start from the low-$600s with models now open at 6423 Beatles Lane.
