Former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is trying to sell his record-setting property in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County.
Snyder bought the River View property, 7979 E. Boulevard Drive, in 2021 for $48 million. He has since sold the Washington Commanders football team following a series of management controversies. Now, he's trying to sell the home for $60 million, a 20% increase from just three years ago, Axios reported.
The home is on 16.5 acres along the Potomac River is just southwest of River Farm, the headquarters of the American Horticultural Society. See photos of the home here.
The home features 7 bedrooms, 8 full and 7 half baths, and features like a gym with river views, a spa, steam room, home theater and a variety of smart home features.
Earlier this year, Snyder had difficulty selling another large house in Potomac, Maryland. He eventually cut the price and then donated it to the American Cancer Society.
