Is Alexandria’s real estate market — like the weather — cooling off a bit?
As people took off for summer vacation, the real estate market did slow down a bit in July and August. In addition, the average list price-to-sold price ratio, which was 100% or more in every Alexandria ZIP code earlier this summer, is down slightly now.
The numbers are still competitive for sellers, though, and it’s because inventory still isn’t nearly as high as it has been in past years. That means there still aren’t many homes to buy.
