White Lily Shoppe, a self-care brand founded by a local mom, is opening its first pop-up shop at 121 South Royal St. (the Seedling Collective in Old Town).
The pop-up's grand opening celebration is at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. The first 100 customers will be entered into a drawing to win a year-long supply of soap. It will remain open through Feb. 26.
Long term, owner Bianca Del Cid said, “Our goal is to have a brick-and-mortar in the DMV area where customers can shop for clean and sustainable personal care products in person.
Customers will have the option to build a custom-curated, luxury box from White Lily Shoppe’s collection, making a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day.
Del Cid started White Lily Shoppe as a side project while she was working full time in social services. Del Cid took the project full time in early 2022.
White Lily Shoppe’s product line includes a variety of organic handmade soaps, body scrubs, bath bombs, and bath salts. All of their products are cruelty-free, vegan, and made in small batches in Alexandria, Virginia. In addition to the pop-up store, White Lily Shoppe will also be hosting a series of events and workshops featuring local women-owned businesses, such as Wildry, Berries & Brie, London Wick, Made by HillaryD and Lykha Studios.
The popup store, located at 121 South Royal Street, will be open Tuesdays – Sundays. For more information, visit www.whitelilyshoppe.com or follow @WhiteLilyShoppe for updates.
