Restore Hyper Wellness is opening in Alexandria, bringing residents easy access to cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen, red light therapy and more.
Restore Hyper Wellness will be located in the Bradlee Shopping Center, next to the new Beeliner Diner, opening later this year.
The company has more than 100 locations nationwide, including Richmond and Bethesda. A location will be opening at Pentagon City in 2022 in addition to the one in Alexandria.
Restore says its services can help "decrease inflammation, optimize your sleep, boost energy and defy the signs of aging."
The company describes itself this way on its website: "Welcome to a wholly new approach to health care, where experts guide you to the best version of yourself by empowering your body’s natural capabilities. It’s a commitment, lifestyle, and a global movement that is changing the human experience through proactive, accessible solutions. So you can feel better than you ever thought possible, and do more of what you love."
Here are a few of Restore's services:
- Cryotherapy uses sub-freezing temperatures either across the whole body or on targeted areas to speed healing, reduce pain and more. Treatment can take as little as a few minutes. Restore offers cryo-lipo, cryo facials and other services.
- IV drip therapy uses IVs to directly provide hydration, boost immunity, replenish nutrients and support joint and muscle function.
- Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, which puts you in an increased oxygen environment for a brief time. Benefits may include: "Help optimize sleep, speed up athletic recovery, repair muscles and boost cognitive clarity. Regular visits will have you feeling like you turned back the hands of time."
- Red Light Therapy, also called Photobiomodulation Therapy, "uses red and infra-red wavelengths of light that can help to boost energy levels, relieve minor pain and swelling, and balance your mood - all in as little as 10 minutes per day."
No opening date for the Alexandria or Arlington locations are available yet.
