Power Nectar Yoga is opening in the Potomac Yard neighborhood Friday — and the community is invited out to help celebrate.
The grand opening Friday, June 28 from 6 - 8 p.m. will include a tour of the new space, specials for new members, refreshments, exhibits and more. Children are welcome. The studio is at 2708 Richmond Hwy. in Alexandria (city) near Potomac Yard.
Power Nectar Yoga is the sister boutique studio to Blue Nectar Yoga in Falls Church. The new studio is designed to offer an “unmatched ‘soulful sweat experience,’” according to owner Jane Bahneman.
Power Nectar Yoga will be offering a variety of hot yoga classes for all levels. In addition, the studio will offer special programming for active duty and retired military and first responders.
The facility is Green Globe certified, with low-water appliances, energy-efficient fixtures and environmentally-friendly business practices. The heat for hot yoga is provided through radiant heat panels.
