Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea
Bringing back its unique twist on the renowned afternoon tea ritual, The St. Regis Washington, D.C. debuts its signature Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea this spring. The extraordinary tea presentation features beautifully prepared desserts hanging from the branches of a cherry blossom tree, all surrounded by a selection of mouth-watering savory bites at the tree’s base. Guests who reserve the Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea can choose from a fine selection of luxurious teas from Dammann Frères, including an exclusive custom blended cherry blossom tea, alongside delectable cherry blossom inspired bites and treats. Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea is available Wednesdays through Sundays, March 5 through May 18, from 1 to 5 pm at $119 per person.
Cherry Blossom Dessert Wheel
Indulge in a decadent evening in the St. Regis Bar & Lounge while savoring cherry blossom-themed desserts and Champagne. Delight in an array of intricately decorated desserts displayed on a playful and interactive gold Ferris wheel tower.
Delectable highlights from the menu include a white chocolate cherry blossom Mousse with a brandy cherry compote and a passion fruit Cremieux topped with seasonal fruit.
Priced at $150 for two guests, the cherry blossom dessert wheel offering is available from March 5 through May 18, Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 6 to 11 pm, and includes one dessert tower for two and two glasses of Champagne.
Cherry Blossom Cocktail in St. Regis Bar
One of D.C.’s most iconic cocktail lounges, the St.
Regis Bar, offers a specialty cocktail highlighting ingredients inspired by Japan’s cherry blossoms. The cocktail, “When in Tokyo,” combines Japanese Gin and Junmai Saké with a touch of Green Chartreuse.
